He supervises all aspects of care for pregnant women and their unborn child. He is in charge of the Department’s Ultrasound and Prenatal Diagnosis Unit, one of the most prestigious public sector units in the science of diagnostic medical sonography and prenatal diagnosis in Cyprus. He is also in charge of the Fetal Medicine Unit, has more than 15 years of experience in maternal fetal medicine, and is skilled in several fetal diagnostic services, including CVS and amniocentesis. He is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Ioannina, School of Medicine, working on ‘The prevention of preterm birth’. He has contributed as co-author in peer-reviewed research manuscripts and to chapters for one book.
