Limassol Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services are located in a community-based, interprofessional centre staffed with a Child Psychiatrist, Clinical Psychologists, an Occupational Therapist, and Mental Health Nurses. They provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitation services on an outpatient basis to children, adolescents up to 17 years old, and their families. Interventions also encompass the family environment and school environment. The department serves referrals for children and adolescents facing mild to severe psychological, psychosocial, and emotional difficulties.
The service engages in activities related to prevention, diagnosis, treatment, education, and research.
