The Mental Health Services in the Penitentiary Department are interprofessionally staffed and cover the needs of the population of the Central Prison with mental health problems, alcoholism, use and abuse of illegal substances. Ward 10 also operates in the Penitentiary, which is covered by 24-hour nursing care and accommodates people with active psychopathology who cooperate and need further monitoring.
