Open heart surgery and thoracic surgery (Cardiac Surgery for adult patients and Thoracic Oncology with minimally invasive thoracoscopic methods | VATS)
Born in Larnaca, he graduated with honors from the Public High School and completed with a scholarship from the Republic of Cyprus his studies in Medicine at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) in 2002, and his specialisation in Cardiothoracic Surgery (2012). Since 2017 he has been serving at Nicosia General Hospital as a First Class Public Medical Officer, at the Cardiothoracic surgery clinic. He carries out Open Heart and Thoracic Surgery (Oncology, VATS) as a surgeon. He holds an MPA degree in Public Health Services Administration, an MSc in Surgical Thoracic Oncology, an MSc in Medical Statistics, and a Diploma in TQCM Total Quality Control Management. He has research activity and avid academic interest, as well as publications and presentations in international journals and conferences and is a full member of the European Association of Cardiothoracic Surgery (EACTS). He speaks and writes in 4 languages (GR, EN, SE, NO) and has basic knowledge in 3 additional languages (DE, FR, DK).
