Dr. Christos Bekos graduated with honors from the Medical School of the University of Ancona in Italy. He obtained a degree in Vascular Surgery from the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where he also prepared his doctoral thesis in Vascular Surgery (PhD) with final grade Excellent. He obtained the pan-European degree in Vascular Surgery after examinations in Maastricht, the Netherlands (FEBVS). He holds master’s degrees in Health Services Management and Endovascular Surgery. He has been trained in Vascular Ultrasound as well as in Intra-Vascular Techniques in many medical centres abroad. He has published in international and local journals, and he has as well as a number of participations in European scientific conferences. He is an Associate Professor (Clinical Associate Professor in Vascular Surgery, UNIC) at St George’s University School of Medicine, University of London (Cyprus) and the University of Nicosia (UNIC).
