Dr. Christos Kounnos graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He completed his internship for the specialty degree in Vascular Surgery at the Vascular Surgery Clinic of the Heraklion University General Hospital and received the specialty title. He holds a master’s degree in Endovascular Surgery from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in collaboration with the University of Biccoca, Milan. He has been trained in Vascular Ultrasound as well as in Vascular Techniques in many centres abroad. He has publications in international and local journals as well as a number of participations in local and European scientific conferences. He is a member of the European Society of Vascular Surgery.
