Dr Despo Orfanidou completed her studies in Ukraine and graduated from Lvof Medical University Danylo Halytsky in 1995. In 1996 she enrolled in the Doctors Register of Cyprus. After the recognition of her qualification from the Greek authorities she completed her postgraduate training from 1997 | 2001 in the specialty of General Medicine | in Hospitals in Nicosia | Larnaca | Kyperounta and Hippocratic hospital in Athens. In 12 | 2001 following examinations she obtained the Specialty title in General Medicine by the Athens Prefecture. In 2016 she completed Postgraduate studies in Health Units Management at the Open University of Cyprus. From September 2019 she works as a Medical Director in Primary Health Care Centres in Larnaca district. In 2020 she was promoted to Senior Medical Officer. Dr. Orfanidou is a member of the Board of Directors of General Medicine Society of Cyprus and member of the European Academy of Teachers in General Medicine EURACT. She is also an associate of the Aristotle Universtity of Thessaloniki as a member of the network of trainers in primary health care.
2002-2004: Worked in Outpatient Clinics Old Larnaca Hospital. 2004-2015: Worked in the Emergency department of Larnaca General Hospital for 11 consecutive years. 2015-Present: She works as a General Practitioner in Outpatient Clinic Old Larnaca Hospital
