Dr Nikolaides studied medicine at the Stavropol State Academy of the Russian Federation. Following his graduation, he successfully completed his neurosurgery training in Greece and Cyprus. After the acquisition of his Certificate of Completion of Training he became a member of the Neurosurgery Department of Nicosia General Hospital as a consultant Neurosurgeon.
Dr Nikolaides has extensive surgical experience covering a wide area of neurosurgical pathology from minimally invasive to complex neurosurgical procedures (skull base and spinal tumors, brain aneurisms, complex spinal cases).
He has completed the full training program and holds the degree of the European Spine Association (EUROSPINE) and the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies (EANS). His specific surgical interests involve skull base neurooncology, neurovascular and minimally invasive neurosurgery.
Dr. Nikolaides keeps his knowledge up to date and regularly attends regional and international conferences and workshops.
