Pediatrician
Dr Eleni Charalampous graduated from the medical school of the University of Patras in 2012. Started working as a pre-registration Doctor in Limassol G.H and continued her education by specialising as a Paediatrician at the G.H of Zakynthos. She then completed her specialty at the Paediatric Clinic and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of Patras University Hospital earning years long worth of clinical experience .
Repatriated to Cyprus in 2020 where she initially worked as a neonatologist at Makarios Children’s Hospital and since July ‘20 has been a member of the Paediatrics Clinic of the G.H of Limassol.
She has attended numerous post educational seminars of Paediatrics, Clinical immunology and Hellenic Academy of Pediatric Allergy, Pediatric Pulmonology,Breventing Child abuse strategies , accomplishing dozens of publications and presentations.
In terms with the continuous and up to date educative spirit she is a master candidate in Public health and Management of Health Care Centers. She recently fulfil the -I.H.C seminar, in order to contribute in promoting breast-feeding, awaiting the accreditation of the G. H. of Limassol as a Baby Friendly Hospital. Dr Eleni is a licensed nls and apls provider.
She has actively been a part of the educational work of the Paediatric Clinic of the University of Patras regarding Students, Registrat/ Paediatricians, work she proudly continues to focus on, at the G. H. of Limassol. Despite her young age, she has had a long and substantial course in volunteering
