Clinical dietician | Public Health Nutritionist
Elina Ioanou is a Clinical Dietitian with work experience both in the food and beverage industry and in the clinical hospital area as she is in charge of the Dietetic Departments of the General Hospitals of Limassol and Paphos since November 2008. Specialised in clinical nutrition, MNT nutritional therapy approach, non-communicable diseases (NCDs), nutritional education and weight management. She holds a Degree in Dietetics and Nutrition Science as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Nutrition and Public Health with grade “Excellent” from Harokopio University of Athens. She is the first Cypriot instructor of the scientific program LLL in Clinical Nutrition of the European Society of Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism, ESPEN. She has been invited to give lectures at local and international conferences while at the same time, she regularly writes articles for local print and electronic media.
