Dr. Phaedra Ioannidou completed her studies in the USSR in 1987, where she graduated from the Lvov Medical Institute. She has been registered as a Doctor in Cyprus since 1989 and as a General Practitioner since 2003. Since 1995 she has attended courses in ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support), ALS (Advanced Life Support), EPLS (European Paediatric Life Support), Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS). Dr. Phaedra Ioannidou has been certified as an Instructor of the European Resuscitation Council (ERC) in ALS since 2003, in EPLS since 2009, at BLS / AED since 2006 and ILS (Immediate Life Support), as well as a certified E.R.C. Trainer for Instructors. She was an Instructor at P.H.T.L.S. for a number of years and ALS Instructor of the UK Resuscitation Council. In 1998 she was awarded the postgraduate Diploma – General Practitioner Training by the University of Surrey, England. In 2011 she attended Ultrasound education at the Hippocratic Hospital of Athens. In 2014 she was awarded an MSc in Health Units Management by the Open University of Cyprus.
