Dr. Constantinos Picolas studied medicine at the University of Patras, Greece.
He completed his training in Neurosurgery at Patras University Hospital
and has then been employed as a neurosurgeon in hospitals in Greece and the
UK. Since 2018 he is a member of the neurosurgical team of Nicosia General
Hospital.
His specific surgical interests concern neurooncology, neurotrauma, spinal and peripheral nerve surgery. His theoretical interests revolve around clinical and cognitive neuroscience. He has post-graduate studies in this area and is involved in current research work in the field of dynamic approaches on
perception and consciousness.
Dr. Picolas keeps his knowledge up to date and regularly attends regional and international conferences and workshops.
He is a member of the Cyprus Medical Association, the British General Medical Council, and an individual member of the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies (EANS).
