Dr Lorenzo Kapetis graduated from the Medical School of the University of Siena in Italy in 2006. After completing his military service and rural doctor service in the Ypatis Regional Medical Center, he completed the specialty of Cardiology in the Cardiology Clinic of the General State Hospital of Athens C. Genimatas. He holds the European License of Cardiology. He also holds the Master ‘s title in Intensive Care Units – Cardiology Nursing the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. From 04/2018 until 02/2021 he worked as a Cardiology consultant at the National Health System in Greece. He dealt with the cardiac monitoring of Hematology – oncology patients in cooperation with the Hematology Clinic of General Hospital G. Genimatas from 09/2017 until 03/2018 and with pre-sport and pre-game cardiac check-up, both during preparation of the thesis, and during his tenure as a Cardiology consultant. He has participated in numerous local, national and international conferences, workshops, seminars, mock clinics and workshops, having engaged in some of them as a speaker. His articles have been published in well-known Greek cardiology journals.
