Dr. Marakkou Eleni graduated from Ovidiu University of Medicine, Romania. She then obtained the specialty of Internal Medicine from General Hospital G.GENNIMATAS Athens. During her studies she was trained in the Diabetes Clinic at G.GENNIMATAS, B’ Pathology Clinic and in Dermatology clinic at ELIA hospital in Romania. She has attended: For a total of two years at the annual Nationwide Infection Education programme. The fourth hypertension school under the auspices of the Medical Faculty of the University of Athens and the European Society of Hypertension. Seminar in CPR and defibrillation (BLS | AED course | certificate issued by the European Resuscitation Council | ERC). Postgraduate seminar in infections for primary care physicians, organised by the Cyprus Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infections. Annual further training courses for Diabetes mellitus at ‘Vasos Karamanos’ in Athens. Online Postgraduate courses (WEBINARS) on Diabetes Mellitus| Seminar on Emergency Case Management in primary care (CPR). Dr. Marakkou Eleni during her Pathology specialisation in the B’ Pathology Clinic carried out the following services: Examination | check-up | monitoring patients in the emergency department | supervision of hospitalised patients and on-call duty at the above sections. She is a member of: Cyprus Pathology Society and Cyprus Pancyprian Medical Association.
