Endocrine Surgery
Dr. Marios Loizou is a graduate and doctor of the Medical School of the University of Athens. He completed his specialty in General Surgery at Gennimatas General Hospital in Athens in 1994. During his career he was particularly involved in thyroid and parathyroid surgery, for which he further specialised at Harvard Medical School. He has been a member of the International Association of Endocrine Surgeons (IAES) since August 2009, a member of the International Society of Surgery (ISS) since September 2009, a member of the European Society of Endocrine Surgeons since September 2012 and a member of The Royal College of Surgeons of England since September 2013 (Honorary title Fellowship ad eundem).
