Dr. Moesis-Akis Lambrou studied medicine at University of Thessali, Medical School. He completed his neurosurgery specialty training at ‘Red Cross Hospital’, Athens and subsequently subspecialized in neurovascular neurosurgery at ‘Addenbrookes Hopsital’, Cambridge UK. He also worked at the neurosurgery department of ‘Morriston Swansea’ Hospital, Wales.
Dr Lambrou additionally worked at the Interventional Neurosurgery Department of ‘Ygeia Athens Hospital’ as part of his neurovascular aneurism surgery subspecialty training.
From February 2009 he became part of the Neurosurgery Department of Nicosia General Hospital where in June 2015 he became Assistant Director and the Director in 2016 of the department.
Dr. Lambrou regularly attends regional amd international conferences and training workshops and he is a lecturer at the University of Cyprus, Nicosia University and European University, Cyprus.
He has performed a substantial number of operative procedures which include craniotomies for brain and spinal tumor removal, aneurysms, hematomas and spinal operations.
