Dr. Pantelis Paleologos is the Head of Obstetrics & Gynecology Clinic of Larnaca General Hospital since 19/09/2017. He has been working at Larnaca General Hospital for the last 8 years during which he has performed a large number of deliveries, obstetric operations and surgeries. Indicatively, more than 500 Caesarean sections, 120 abdominal hysterectomies, 100 vaginal hysterectomies, 3 obstetric hysterectomies and a large number of laparoscopies, corpus sutures, colposcopies, conical resections, diagnostic scrapings, vaginal plastic surgery, etc. Dr. Pantelis Paleologos completed his studies in Athens, where he graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with the grade: “Very Good”. On 19/07/2011 he received the title of the Medical Specialty in Obstetrics & Gynecology after full training at the 1st Obstetrics and Gynecology University Clinic of Athens General Hospital “Alexandra”. On 29/06/2011 he received a Master’s Degree (M.Sc) from the Medical School of Athens in “Minimally Invasive Surgery, Robotic Surgery and Telesurgery” and received the grade “Very Good”. On 13/12/2012 he was sworn in as a Doctor of the Medical School of Athens (Ph.D) and received the grade: “Excellent”, for the preparation of a dissertation on “The Expression of the Gene of Cyclin E and its Prognostic Significance in Colon Cancer”. The results of the research were published in the international medical journal ANTICANCER RESEARCH 39: 6291-6297 (2019) doi: 10.21873/anticanres.13839 Dr. Pantelis Paleologos received accredited postgraduate training in the following: Six-month Ultrasound Training at the Department of Prenatal Check and the Gynecology and Obstetrics Outpatient Clinic of the University of Thessaly Obstetrics at the University Hospital of Larissa from 24/03/2014 to 23/09/2014. Endoscopic Surgery in Gynecology, Hysteroscopy, Colposcopy, Perineal Pelvic Surgery During Pregnancy, Childbirth and Maternity. Also in Statistical Processing of Medical Data SPSS-Level 1, in Basic Life Support and Automatic Defibrillation, CPR, Advanced Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, PHTLS Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support, Certificate in Air Force Officer Training. He is a member of the Hellenic Society of Breast Surgery since 2001 and a member of the Hellenic Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2007. He has Educational Experience with medical, obstetrics and nursing students of the University of Athens, University of Cyprus, European University of Cyprus and Cyprus University of Technology. He is a Clinical Instructor of the Medical students of the European University of Cyprus since 01/06/2016. He has Voluntary Experience as a Sports Doctor at the Athens 2004 Olympic and Paralympic Games. He has participated in Medical Conferences in Greece and Cyprus and has published in international medical journals.
