She attended Semmelweis Medical University in Budapest, Hungary, where she received her medical degree in 1997. She obtained a degree in Pathology in April 2005. The hospitals where she practiced during her specialisation training in Pathology were Nicosia General Hospital and the First Preparatory Pathology Clinic of the University of Athens at Laiko General Hospital of Athens. She continued with clinical training in Diabetes Mellitus for a period of six months, until December 2005, at the Diabetes Centre of Laiko Hospital in Athens. In 2018 she went on a two-month clinical attendance at the National Centre for Spinal Cord Diseases in the United Kingdom at Stoke Mandevılle Hospital, Aylesbury. She is a member of the Cyprus Pathology Society and the Cyprus Diabetology Society. She is a registered doctor at GMC, UK since 2018.
