Polis Chrysochous Hospital belongs to the network of the State Health Services Organization along with 7 other Hospitals that cover the population across free Cyprus. The hospital serves the residents of Polis Chrysochous, the rural centre of Kato Pyrgos and nearby villages/communities but also tourists visiting the wider area. It operates a mixed ward for treating internal medicine and cardiac cases and an Accident and Emergency Department. Moreover, the hospital operates a Clinical Laboratory and a Radiology Department which serve the cases of the A&E department but also the outpatients, on a weekly basis. The Hospital employs 8 physicians, 31 nursing officers and 5 other health professionals.
