The ward of Polis Chrysochous Hospital has a capacity of 11 beds and treats pathological and cardiological cases. The ward employs 3 medical practitioners; 2 internal medicine specialists and a cardiologist, who are on on-call duty daily.
Patients are admitted through A&E, Outpatient clinics or after being transferred from Paphos Hospital to continue their treatment. The Internal medicine and Cardiology clinic operates daily with outpatient clinics while the patient can visit one of the three physicians through a pre-arranged appointment made with the hospital’s reception desk.
At the Internal medicine clinic there is a short stay unit, where intravenous administration of iron, antibiotics, electrolytes, Na, K, subcutaneous injections, etc. are conducted when needed. Moreover, a diabetes clinic operates every Thursday.
The Cardiology Clinic offers cardiac stress tests, Holter monitoring and echocardiography.

Urologist once every fortnight.
Psychiatrist on the first and last Tuesday of the month.
Clinical psychologist every Friday.
Occupational therapist every Thursday.
Specialised pathologist every Tuesday.
Physiotherapist every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Laboratory: daily and in the afternoons until 20:30, and Saturday until 14:00.
Radiodiagnostic services available 24 hours a day.
