What doctor specialties can I visit?

At Troodos Hospital you can find Doctors of the following specialties:

  • Pulmonologist: Monday – Friday
  • Pathology Specialist: Monday – Friday
  • Cardiologist: Monday – Friday
  • Gynecologist: Wednesday
  • Ophthalmologist: Tuesday
  • Surgeon: Thursday every fortnight
  • Plastic Surgeon: Wednesday every fortnight
  • Orthopedist: Monday every fortnight
  • Urologist: Friday every fortnight
  • Radiologist: After consultation with the Radiology Department

What should I know before my appointment with the specialist doctor?

Before the appointment with the specialist doctor, you must obtain a referral for the specific specialty from your personal doctor.

How do I schedule a follow-up appointment?

Either through the specialist doctor during your first appointment, through the SHSO website, or through the call center at 25806700.

Do I have to pay for a doctor’s visit?

For GHS beneficiaries the charge is €6 with a referral and €25 without a referral.

Upon admission, the patient must obtain an inpatient health care referral from his/her personal doctor or specialist doctor or from the Accidents and Emergency Department.

Outpatient Clinic: Monday – Friday 7:30 – 03:00

Accidents and Emergency Department: 24 hours a day

Inpatients: Monday – Sunday 14:00 – 15:00 and 18:00 – 19:00
