The Prevention and Counselling Centre for Adolescents and Families provides programmes for the prevention, early intervention, and treatment of addictive behaviours, such as substance abuse, gambling, the Internet, and video games.
The Centre is staffed by an Interprofessional team consisting of Clinical Psychologists, Mental Health Nurses and an Occupational Therapist.
The treatment programmes are aimed at adolescents and young adults aged 14-22, in the districts of Limassol and Paphos and their families.
Prevention and early intervention programmes target students, teachers, parents, counsellors and vulnerable groups of teens and include information, awareness and experiential workshops to prevent addiction.
