STROFI is a therapeutic unit for the treatment of opioid drug addiction and is housed at the Paphos General Hospital. The unit is interprofessionally staffed and provides medication-based treatment and psychosocial care. The purpose of substitute-based therapy is to reduce the physical, psychological and social dysfunction that accompanies addiction and to restore physical, psychological and social function.
