Dr. Ekaterini Efthymiadou Houtri completed her studies in Greece, where she graduated from the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She then worked as a resident doctor in the Department of Pathology of the Evangelismos General Hospital of Athens and the Cytology Department of Alexandra General Hospital of Athens and received a degree in Anatomical Pathology. She then worked in the Histopathology Department of Nicosia General Hospital. She specialises in diseases of the hemolymph tissue for which she was trained abroad. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of Cyprus Anatomical Pathology Association. She is a member of the European Society of Pathology and the International Academy of Pathology.
