Dr Christopoulou is a consultant neonatologist working within neonatal services at General Hospital of Limassol since March 2021. She studied medicine at university of Patra, Greece graduating in 2000.She completed her paediatric training program at university hospital of Patra, Greece (2009) and her neonatal sub-specialization at “Agia Sofia” children’s hospital Athens, Greece (2011). She worked as a neonatal clinical fellow(high grade) in Addenbrooke’s hospital in Cambridge, UK from where she returned in 2014 to be a consultant neonatologist at University hospital of Patra, Greece. Dr Christopoulou completed a Msc in “Health management” in 2015 and she is a candidate PhD at University of Patra examining the role of neonatal metabolomics in RDS.
She is a certified assessor for Griffiths neurodevelopmental scale for children, has attended courses regarding neonatal ventilation strategies and she can perform cranial ultrasound in preterm babies. She has attributed to multicentered neonatal trials, has presentations in European neonatal conferences and publications in the field of neonatology.
