Vocal Surgery
She was born in Athens. She studied Nursing at the Military School of Nursing and Medicine at the Medical School of the University of Patras. After graduating from Medical School, she was placed as a Military Doctor – Officer at the Naval Hospital of Athens. She specialised in Otolaryngology in Great Britain (London UCL Whittington Hospital, Kettecing General Hospital, Southend General Hospital). She specialised in the field of voice surgery in Great Britain (Nottingham) and in the USA (N. Carolina, Philadelphia) and had the opportunity to work with the biggest names in the field (J. Kauffmann, R. Sataloff). Returning to Greece, she worked at the Naval Hospital of Athens, Director of the ENT clinics of the Naval Hospital of Salamis and Crete.
She actively participated in the training of nurses, medical students and medical specialists. She has given many lectures to educational groups, seminars and conferences on various ENT topics such as: anatomy and physiology of the ENT area, diving physiology, ENT emergencies, sleep apnea and polygraphy, surgical voice change in transgender, etc. She resigned from the Armed Forces in December 2013 and maintained a private practice in Elliniko while collaborating with private clinics, such as Mitera, Iasso General, the Athinaiki clinic, Doctors Hospital for the surgeries of her patients.
She is a member of the Greek ENT society, of Athens Medical Association, the Royal Academy of Surgeons, of the British Voice Association. At the same time she practices alternative and cosmetic medicine. Practices Alternative Medicine using Applied Kinesiology to investigate food intolerances, immunological imbalances and ways of balancing, Auricular Acupuncture, Electroacupuncture and Aesthetic acupuncture. Minimally invasive cosmetic medicine, using the latest technology device Plasma BT 2nd generation, as well as mesotherapy, fillers, botox. November 2018-January 2020. Shee set up and ran the ENT clinic at King Salman Specialists Hospital in Hail, Saudi Arabia. February 2020-August 2020 set up and managed the ENT clinic at the Mediterranean Hospital Limassol, Cyprus. September 2020-present practices Otolaryngology at the ENT clinic of Limassol General Hospital Cyprus.
