Dr. Isaia Maria completed her studies in medicine at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and then obtained the Specialty of Surgery following after examinations in Thessaloniki. She attended various postgraduate seminars regarding the field of general surgery, as well as accredited seminars with practical training in laparoscopic surgery, and she holds a Laparoscopic Surgery Degree from the University of Strasbourg. She received a Postgraduate degree in Health Policy and Health Services Planning the Open University of Cyprus. She has active participation with papers in local and International Conferences. During her service in the public sector she has dealt with a considerable number of planned and emergency surgical cases.
