Cardiology
Dr Alexakis Stavros studied medicine at the Medical University of Plovdiv in Bulgaria.
He specialised in internal medicine and cardiology at the 1st IKA Hospital of Athens and following relevant examinations he received the specialty title of cardiology.
During the specialty training he was particularly interested in the management of cardiac patients in the outpatient cardiology clinic
Dr. Alexakis cross has worked in public and private medical facilities in Greece by monitoring patients with coronary artery disease, heart failure, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, carrying out echocardiography, fatigue test, holter – 24 hour recording of arterial pressure and pulse. He has worked with interventional cardiologists and heart surgeons to fully manage cardiac patients.
He has participated in numerous conferences related to general medicine and cardiology with presentations and he was a speaker at the conference working groups of Greece Heart Association and at the conference of independent cardiologists Greece (2017,2018).
He voluntarily participated in the Social Mission clinic provided by Athens Medical Association and the Greek Archdiocese, for which he was awarded by Athens Medical Association for three consecutive years.
