Constantina Demosthenous is a registered psychologist in the field of Clinical Psychology in Cyprus and France. She also holds the title of Chartered Clinical Psychologist (British Psychological Society). She holds a degree in Psychology from Paul Valéry University, Montpellier 3 and a two-year Master’s degree from René Descartes University, Paris 5 with a major in Clinical Psychopathology and Neuropsychology of Aging. She is a PhD student at the University of Cyprus.
She is particularly interested in the Systemic Approach to Psychotherapy and has completed two years of training in the Collaborative Counselling Approach to Short Systemic Interactive Therapy.
Since June 2011 she has been working as a Specialist Psychologist in the Mental Health Services and in the framework of her duties she has worked with various populations of patients and subjects, providing psychological support services, evaluation, treatment, training seminars and lectures.
Specifically, she has worked at the Psychotherapy Centre in Nicosia, at the Occupational Rehabilitation Unit in Nicosia and Limassol, at the Prometheus Adolescent and Family Counselling Center, at the Limassol Children and Adolescents Department and at the Outpatient Clinics of Limassol Old Hospital.
