Dr. Charis Satrazami completed her studies in Germany, where she graduated from the University of Cologne. She then began the common core of her surgical specialty, where she gained experience in a wide range of surgical fields, including general and oncological surgery as well as pediatric surgery and traumatology. During this period she completed her experimental doctoral thesis in the field of embryonic stem cell research. She then specialised in gastrointestinal surgery with particular interest in minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures.
