Dr. Evanthia Vassiliadou graduated from the Pancyprian High School in Nicosia. She then studied with a State Scholarship at the Medical University of PECS in Hungary, where she received a degree in Medicine in 1984. During her studies she excelled in a European Chemistry Competition where she won first prize. She then worked for 5 years at the University Children’s Hospital HEIM PAL (SEMMELWEIS Budapest Medical University) where she attained the specialty in Pediatrics with honors. She frequently attends Pediatric Conferences in Cyprus and abroad in order to continuously educate and inform herself about the new standards in Pediatrics. She has attended many seminars and workshops at Cyprus Academy of Public Administration. She is fluent in Greek, English, Hungarian, Spanish and Turkish.
From 1990 to 1998 worked in Cyprus in private practice as a Pediatrician. Since January 1999 she has been working in the Pediatric Clinic of Larnaca General Hospital as a permanent Medical Officer A. TRAINING: She attended the following European seminars for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Rescue (adult, children and infants) and has passed the examination cum laude: EUROPEAN RESUSCITATION COUNCIL 1. Advanced Life Support (ALS PROVIDER COURSE) 2. Advanced Paediatric Life Support Course (APLS) 3. Neonatal Life Support (NLS PROVIDER COURSE). She has worked for a period of 3 weeks in C’ Pediatric University Hospital “Attiko”(Athens, 2015), with particular interest in Pediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
