She graduated from the Medical School of the University of Athens in 1996. For a year she worked as a resident pathologist. Then she began the specialty of radiology at the Aglaia Kyriakou Children’s Hospital for two years. She continued at Athens University General Hospital Alexandra. She was trained in CT imaging at the Red Cross hospital and MRI imaging at the 7th IKA. She received the specialty title of Radiodiagnostics in 2005 and then she was appointed to Athens University General Hospital Evangelismos as Assistant Head Doctor. In 2007 she worked at the American Heart Institute, mainly performing axial coronary angiography (cardiac CT). From 9/2007 to 11/2009 she was a member of the team of doctors who undertook the operation of the MRI at Nicosia General Hospital. In 5/2010 she was appointed and worked in the Radiology Department of Nicosia General Hospital, initially as a temporary doctor and since 8/2010 in the position of permanent Medical Officer [1st class]. At the same time she participates in the Population Cancer Screening programme of the Ministry of Health at Aglantzia Health Center. She has attended many conferences, workshops and two-day seminars with presentations of papers and speeches in many of them. She participated in the training of resident doctors during the time she worked at Evangelismos hospital. She has published in Greek and international scientific journals.
