Dr. Michael Hadjis completed his studies at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens where he graduated with upper second class honors. He then served as a rural doctor for 2 years and then fulfilled his military obligations as a Soldier-Doctor detached in the orthopedic clinic of 401 Military Hospital of Athens. He specialised in Orthopedic Surgery & Traumatology with a term of office at the Thoracic Surgery Clinic of KAT General Hospital, in the B Orthopedic Clinic of Athens General Hospital G.GENNIMATAS and at the Upper Limb Clinic and Microsurgery of Athens General Hospital. He specialised in the Upper Limb Clinic and Microsurgery in the UK and he worked at the Upper Limb Clinic and Microsurgery at Henry Dunant Hospital Center. He has attended a number of training seminars on his subject and has a large number of presentations in international and national conferences. He is studying on a scholarship for the inter-faculty postgraduate programme at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and Metsovio National Polytechnic University. He worked as a doctor at the Special Olympics in 2011. He is a holder of the A.T.L S and Basic A.L.S certificate
