Dr. Athena Skoulariki was born and raised in Athens. She studied Medicine at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She completed her studies in June 1994. Then, after completing the Rural Doctor field service at the Andritsaina Hospital in the prefecture of Ilia, she specialised in Radiology at hospitals in Athens (AMALIA FLEMMING & LAIKO HOSPITALS). She worked as a Radiology Specialist for 3 years in Rhodes with the rank of Assistant Head at the National Health System in Greece (auxiliary doctor) and then in Cyprus, at Limassol and Nicosia General Hospitals as a 1st Class Medical Officer. At Nicosia General Hospital she had the opportunity to use her expertise and boost her experience in the whole range of Radiology. She specialises in Classic Radiology, Ultrasound (in recent years she has also performed specialised Musculoskeletal Ultrasounds), color Doppler ultrasound, CT scan, MRI and Mammogram diagnosis. She participates for many years in the General Population Mammogram programme and performs breast biopsies.

26/09 / 1994-25 / 09/1995: Rural Doctor Service. 18/3/96-31/12/96: Resident in Radiology Prefectural General Hospital of Mellissia – AMALIA FLEMING. 19/12/97- 20/12/2002: Completion of Specialty in Regional General Hospital LAIKO, Athens (also she served in the Second Department of Radiology, University of Athens and the Oncology Hospital IKA “C. Genimatas”). 13/05/2004 -12/05/2005, 01/06/2005 -31/05/2006 and 19/10/2006-18/10/2007: Greek NHS Consultant B (Auxiliary) in Computational section and MRI General Hospital / minus Rhodes 15/10/2007 -30/04/2008: Medical Officer 1st Class General Hospital / minus LIMASSOL 02/05/2008 until today: Medical Officer 1st Class General Hospital / minus NICOSIA
