Pediatrician
Pediatrician Adamos Hadjipanayis is an Associate Professor at the European University of Cyprus, Director of the Pediatric Clinic of Larnaca Hospital and Medical Director of Larnaca Hospital. He carries out a series of national and European research programmes, such as “Use and abuse of antibiotics in child patients with upper-respiratory system infections”, “Smoke-free homes and cars” and “Indoor and outdoor air quality in schools”. He has been the European University Coordinator for the Horizon 2020 project “Evaluation of child health models”. Has published a large number of scientific articles and has given lectures at numerous international and national scientific conferences. He has published a number of books for parents, including “Pediatric medicine for All”. One of his major achievements is writing and editing the publication of “European Mastercourse in Paediatrics”, a book addressed to European Pediatricians. Since December 2018 he is the president of the European Academy of Pediatrics. He Represents the European Academy of Pediatrics in many international organisations such as European Centre for Disease Control (ECDC), European Medicine Agency (EMA) etc.
