Dr. Anagiotos graduated from the Medical School of the University of Athens with honors in 2006. Three years later he completed his doctoral thesis at the Medical School of the University of Cologne in Germany with honors (magna cum laude). He trained and worked for a number of years at the University Hospital of Cologne in Germany, first at the Institute of Anatomy as a research associate and then at the Clinic of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He obtained the title of specialist doctor in Otolaryngology in 2013 and continued as a specialist otolaryngologist at the University Hospital of Cologne and then was promoted to Head Doctor (Oberarzt). His many years of training and work in a university hospital clinics enabled him to gain significant experience in the whole range of modern otolaryngology, but also to engage in medical research from an early age. He also had a continuous and substantial participation in the teaching of the courses of Anatomy, Histology, Neuroanatomy and Otolaryngology, while he was the teaching coordinator for the course of Otolaryngology at the Medical School of the University of Cologne. Since 2016, Dr Anagiotos works at Nicosia General Hospital, while at the same time he is a Scientific Specialist at the Medical School of the University of Cyprus. His special interests include otology and ear surgery, cochlear implants, pediatric audiology and skull base surgery. In collaboration with scientists and universities in Cyprus and abroad, he continues to be active in research, while he is a regular reviewer in international scientific journals. He has published over 30 articles in international scientific journals and his presentations at conferences exceed 60.
