Work Experience:

I have been working at the Cardiology Clinic of the Limassol General Hospital since 1994. In addition to my duties, I have been in charge of the placement of pacemakers for the provinces of Limassol and Paphos for 20 years. monitoring these patients, a task that requires specialized work in addition to my other tasks. All these years hundreds of devices have been installed, a number that far exceeds the capabilities of one person. Since 2005, when the work of the Interventional Cardiology Laboratory started at the Limassol Hospital, I have installed several defibrillators and cardiac synchronisation devices, a task that is also difficult, painful and specialised. It is understandable that this project requires dedication of time, a lot of study and a huge responsibility since it was done in parallel with the performance of my other duties as a cardiologist. Besides, this is the reason why I have not requested a transfer after 20 years of service away from my family, since I live permanently in Nicosia and there is no replacement. It is also noted that since 2013 I have been the Deputy Assistant Director in case of his absence and in 2019 I was promoted to the position of Assistant Director.
