Dr. Theodoros Christofidis studied with a scholarship in London, specifically at University College London (UCL). He completed his studies with honors, obtaining degrees in Medicine and Immunology (BSc (Hons), MBBS). He then completed his basic training in Pathology obtaining a diploma from the Royal College of Physicians (UK, London), of which he remains a member to this day (MRCP). He continued and completed his training in Cardiology (Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training CCT) and acquired a recognised specialisation in Clinical Electrophysiology & Implantable Cardiac Devices (Certified Cardiac Device Specialist IBHRE CCDS). He has won several awards, and has a rich academic record that includes international presentations and publications in prestigious scientific journals. He is a member of the Cyprus Cardiology Society, the European Society of Cardiology and is registered with the Pancyprian and British Medical Associations. Additional academic interests include further medical education for which he has attended a number of recognised seminars, and the science of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and advanced life support (active instructor and member of the board of the Cyprus Resuscitation Council).

2008-2012: Foundation and Core Medical Training, London Deanery (The Whittington, Northwick Park, Hammersmith and Charing Cross Hospitals). 2012-2018: Specialist Training and Post CCT Fellow, London Deanery (North Middlesex, Royal Free and St Bartholomew’s Hospitals). 2018 – To date: Cardiology – Electrophysiology, Nicosia General Hospital.
